I just had a rebuilt powerhead put on my 90 OMC and its been running about two hours now. I am following the break in procedures however I am having a lot of problems producing power at low rpm and starting. When I do get started and warmed up, when I put it in gear, it stalls. I assume this is due to the double the oil mixture and maybe the plugs fowling out. Should I replace the plugs or will this just start to get better as I run the engine?
Thanks.

Pull them and take a look. They're easily cleaned and regapped if fowled. If they look OK the problem may lie elsewhere.

I would'nt "Double oil", I would add a bit more oil during the "Break in" for the 1st tank (about 25-30% more oil). Change RPM every minute or two, go "easy on her" until the ring's seat.

There was a broken spark plug wire. Its doing a lot better now. When its warm, it doesn't have much trouble at idle. It seems to be getting better and better. I plan on, and I am, following the break in procedures in the OMC manual.
