Does anyone know what the max weight for the transom of a 19 outrage is?
Does anyone know the weight of a 150 4 stroke Yamaha? Thanks

In Joe's reference article,
Link , it is listed at 466lbs. I would presume that is dry weight without a prop.

If it helps my 72 Outrage 19 was powered with twin 75hp Mariners at 264 pounds each or a total of 528 pounds.

the 19/21 hulls seem to handle any amount of weight you throw at them with no problem. In fact i am told the more weight on the back the better they ride.

The actual recommendation will be into the horsepower range.
The figure from the top of my head was;
If I can recall'
Up to180 HP.
My specific Outrage Classic 19.4 came equipped with a 150 HP Mercury.
Recommended and installed at the Mercury/Whaler dealership.
The weight of the outboard is 406 LBS.
