Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Swim Ladder/Platform?

I would like to install a swim platform on my boat, but I am not sure what kind to use, or where to find one that can fit my model. The transom and stern of the boat is curved, not straight, so the swim platform would have to be custom or something.

Call Raymond at www.MartinMarineDesign.com, or do a search. He's fabricating the ones for sale on ebay, and can be viewed from his site. zot.

Mr. Martin's platforms are awesome and much better made than the over the counter models I have seen.

Sam has a 13' whaler....similar vintage as mine. Mike, do you guys make smaller ladders for the classic 13's?

The ladder shown appears to be a Windline 3 step telescoping ladder.
I use the Windline 2 step telescoping ladder on my Outage 18'...

We have the same set up Joe. I notice you shifted the ladder off center of the platfotm? BTW, I wish they made those ladders a little bit wider....

Oooops! I apologize as I should have taken a look at the link to see that you have a 13' Whaler. Nevertheless, we have a platform/ladder combo in the works for the 13 hull. The first version will be for the older hulls. Due to the complex shape and small transom, this platform will be made specifically for the 13 hull. It will also be constructed very similarly to the platform we offer for the 17 hull.
I will be sure to post some pics here first when the platform is ready.
Thank you!
Raymond
