Way to go Matt, don't let a "little" foul weather get ya down...

Close to 10" of rain this month, not a record for June but pretty close to it. Thought we would have our first 24 hour period without rain yesterday... (Southern NY state) But Nope!!!

Worked on the Revenge from 07:30 until 20:15.... around 20:45 the sky opened up and it poured for 45 minutes.... This weather pattern just won't give us a break...

I am doing a week of work with my brother who is building a house on a small island off the coast. Fortunately, we are inside most of the time. It is a 30 minute boat ride in the fog/rain.

The silver lining in this? Twice a day, walking to and from his boat slip at a marina, I get to look at 2 Montauk 170's, a 1990's Montauk, an 80's Montauk and a little gem (picture me with a drooling dopey expression). A 80's Outrage 22 WD with twins that is very original. Nothing like a whaler "snack" at the beginning and end of my day.

When my week is done, I am going out regardless. I just don't care about the rain anymore. it's just water.! Bahhh!

Hey Phil,

Which island? I lived in South Portland for a few years,(86-87) and worked at Port Harbour Marine. Have many fond memories of cruising around Casco in my 67 Sokonnet...

Must be nice to get some rain. June is supposed to be our wettest month with an average over 7" of rain, but we will finish out the month with less than 1/4" of rain total. We are about 12" of rain behind.

Yep Highspeed, it's been a pretty dry month here in Gods country, TEXAS. Hopefully today we'll get a little rain up here in Dallas.

It is nice to get SOME rain, but 10" in a month is too much for me. It seems to rain every day I'm off!

We were gettin up to 2" a day, if this place was'nt made out of "sand", we'd be flooded out.
