Am new to this forum, just bought a 1984 18' Outrage. I have many modifications on my wish list but the first is to mount my bow mount trolling motor. I have the same motor as http://www.flickr.com/photos/cwolf/, I like how he mounted it, however other options have crossed my mind. Would it work to make a bow pulpit such as http://www.whalercentral.com/downloads.php?cat_id=13 , but widen it to accept the trolling motor? Also is there an aluminum plate on the port sir=de of the bow for this attachment? This forum has already been a big help, I hope someday to return the favor!
