Ha, my only choice is to win and take the 300HP for the Outrage or sell the 300HP, purchase a 40HP for the 13 and then take a vacation.

You could put that 300 hp on your 13 and be the first at the fishing hole!

For Sale: 2009 300hp E-Tec, never been used and still in the box. First $12K takes it.

One of the stipulations is that you have to run it on a red boat that is really fast for at least a year! Then you'll forget those old black monsters ever existed! :)
PS
How's the Revenge conversion progressing?

I hear ya lol It's on hold while I get some other projects buttoned up. I am slowly gathering lots of little bits and pieces, should be pretty slick when it's all done. I'm trying to find period correct everything for it. Thanks for the link, a free anything is nice to get a shot at.

Here's a note from E-Tec. Apparently someone won the motor and it wasn't me. Lol.
Evinrude Engine Sweepstakes Giveaway
We are happy to announce that Craig Hazelwood of De Kalb, Texas is the winner of a brand new Evinrude E-TEC outboard engine of his choice. Craig entered the www.repowerwithevinrude.com sweepstakes hoping to win a new outboard for his pontoon boat, currently powered with an older model Johnson outboard. Craig, an avid fisherman, was ecstatic to learn he had won the sweepstakes and is looking forward to experiencing all the benefits the Evinrude E-TEC will bring while he’s on the water.

Cliff,
Are you trying to discourage the rest of us from registering?
Kamie,
I'd love to see you FLYING across the bay with a 300 on you 18!

There is a Horace Hazlewood of DeKalb Texas who works in Marketing at Evinrude. Craig is his son.

I think a 175 on the 18 is plenty fast enough.

Yea, since I'm buying (bought one) I was bummed I didn't win. I registered over a 1000 email addresses in my cunning attempt.
Crime doesn't pay it would seem.
