Does anyone know the width of a trailer suitable for a Conquest 23? I need to know the outermost dimension, which would include the fenders.

I can probably save about $2500/year by storing and maintaining my CQ23/IO myself, but don't know if the trailer will fit between the side of my house and my neighbor's fence. The opening is 8 1/2 feet, which is the same as the boat's beam, but the widest part of the boat will probably be above the top of the fence.

You don't mention the brand of your trailer.
You can view your trailer dimensions by going to the manufacturers website most likely.

Most large trailers that I know of are 96 inches total width.

I don't have a trailer, but would buy one if I can determine that it will fit into my yard. I was hoping that someone who has a Conquest 23 w/trailer might have that info handy. 96" would probably work. I'll have to see if I can borrow one and try it out. It'll be tricky getting it in but I'll only have to do it once a year.

I would look at all the manufacturers trailers via their website.

I think you will find that most all of the larger trailers are 96 inches overall width.
You Conquest doesn't weight more than 10,000 pounds I don't think.
The link a gave in my previous post would be a great trailer for a Conquest or maybe even move up to the triple axle. Even the 15,000 pound trailer with triple axles is 96 inches wide.

To get under 96" you will most likey end up having to have a custom trailer built. This however means that your boat will end sitting higher on the trailer to fit the wheels under the hull. What ends up happening is this adds the depth needed to float the boat off the trailer and more wind drag while trailering.

I would recommend Myco trailers if you end up heading this route. I have always been impressed with every one of there trailers I have ever seen.
