My boat stays outside in the sun all the time. I keeps wax on the outside at all times, but how can you protect the in side? can you wax the inside to, or would it make it to slick. What type of wax or protector is the best. Thanks

I used "Collinite 925" cleaner and wax this year on the inside, I was concerned about slipping too but, the "Knurled" floor seem's to prevent that. I didn't slip after "Launching" her yesterday but, I've never done the inside before with this (or any wax), and I may end up on my back yet. So far, so good.

I brought my Montauk to a detailer after i bought it. He did a great job on the outside and he also waxed the interior. It looked fabulous. It wasn't slippery on the areas with grip, but I did slip on the smooth areas. I, however, would do it again. It looked great. I don't know what wax he used though.

Good luck

I wouldn't (don't) bother waxing the deck's non-skid, just the foredeck (it can get slippery when hauling the anchor, just stay on the teak hatch) and the sides, console. I suppose a case could be made for the deck becoming too porous and staining, but it never happened to me. I would hate to compromise 'grip' on the deck proper.

I use '3M Marine Fiberglass Cleaner and Wax' inside and out, and on the outboard, cowl/ shaft/lower unit. Buffs out stains, aluminum 'strikes', some light bleeding stainless rust runs. The shine lasts well.

Wax everything inside and out except the non-skid. For that use Woodys Wax

I use Collinite Fleetwax paste (885) on the whole boat and, contrary to what most would believe, have never slipped on the deck. It's not easy but it lasts a long time and keeps the gelcoat looking like new. The key here is to wear proper footwear to prevent slipping.
