While I'm asking questions, like to get opinion on leaning post.
Final have my 1973 Bare hull back in the water ...built my own console, just a place to hang my steering wheel and store my full tank under.
Thinks of installing a leaning post. My console is 33" wide, which leave a little over 12" on each side to get pass. Alot of the standard leaning post on the market are 39 to 42 inches wide at the grab rail ....I think that is tight.
Any recommendations / experence / brand of leaning post?
Thanks

Here is one I had custom made locally it is 32" wide. Birdsall marine makes a nice one but will cost ~$600 I paid $300 but had to do the upolstery myself. This one is mounted in a 15'.

Carrera,

That has got to be one of the best looking 15's I have seen in some time. Great boat! Where did you find that console?

The console was purchased as a blank for $250 at Marine Surplus in Bradenton, FL. Can check if they will ship for you, they sell on Ebay out of there other store which I think is in Fort Meyers, FL.
