Is there a thread some where on the site which refers to mounting speakers on a Super Sport 13. I have an '87 mahogany interior, an aluminum 13 gal tank mounted under the front seat, and storage under the rear. My 12 year old is turning 13 and i need to put tunes on it so I don't have to pay for gas on my Ski Nautique. I'm not woried about the head unit placement. Any suggestions would be apprecieated. I'll make sure he doesn't boat around any of you opposed to the noise. Thanks

I know you said you used the area under your rear seat for storage but what does a 12 year old really need to store?

I mounted a set of Kicker KB6000 speakers under mine and they sound great.

The storage is actualy part of the boat, the back seat actually is hinged and there is built in storage under it leaving only and inch under the bottom, no room to mount anything. The only available space is in the engine well and putting a couple speakers in boxes back there just doesn't seem like the spot.
