My Outrage has a slight port side running bias due (I think) to the prop spin. The small Zinc skeg can be adjusted. Will this offset the bias or should I consider trim tabs or something else?

Do you mean slight pulling to one side or another when running at higher planing speeds? Then maybe the zinc tab will help. If you mean slight list that may mean wieght distribution.

I would call it a "running list". At idle, she has a balanced attitude. It's worse when running & the bow is "trimmed down". I can get most of it out by trimming the bow up, but then I loose the benefit of the sharp entry if I'm in a "short chop".

I have an '87 Outrage 20' with a Yamaha F150 that listed to port throughout the trim range. It also porpoised when I trimmed up, it was frustrating. I considered trim tabs but didn't want to spend the money so instead I bought a Stingray foil. Now, when I get on plane and I have the trim all the way down, it still lists to port. But, if I bump the trim up just a little, it levels out. The foil also holds the bow down so you can still get the sharp entry.

The trim tab on the motor is there to help counteract the propeller (steering) torque. If you have an NFB or hydraulic steering, it can be out of adjustment and you will not really feel it and it can contribute to the list caused by the propeller torque.

Try moving the trailing edge of the rim tab more to starboard and see if that helps.
