I'm looking at two different boats and need help deciding on which one will fit me better. I'm looking at a 1999 21' outrage and a 1996 21 outrage. I live in Alaska and plan on shrimping, trolling, and bottom fishing. If anyone has any experience with these boats I'd love to hear your pros and cons of the boats. I guess what I'm looking for is the more stable boat between the two, and maybe the smoother riding and which has the most deck room. Pros and cons are wanted.
Thank you

To begin with, they are both called the 21' Outrage or Outrage 21'.

The 1996 21' Outrage is 20' 9" in length.
The 1999 21' Outrage is 20' 7" in length.

They both have the same beam and same draft.

The 1996 has a 122 gallon fuel tank.
The 1999 has a 125 gallon fuel tank.

The 1996 is rated for 300 hp max.
The 1999 is rated for 250 hp max.

They both have the accutrack hull

The 1999 model has the euro style transom. The 1996 does not.

Other than the above mentioned differences, I don't see anything else major.
It depends on whether or not you like the euro style transom as opposed to the older style.
