Im considering purchasing a lift for my 18 outrage...Im deciding between a Shoremaster or a Craftlander Brand Hoist. I understand that Shoremaster is a Superior lift, but is it worth the extra $1,500 for a comparable Craftlander. Just wondering if anyone out there has had any bad experiences or thoughts about a craftlander and/or Shoremaster Lift .... I have deep water at my dock, about 8 ft of water and when its not rough becasue of the wind, very busy boat traffic makes it equally rough most of the time especially on a busy weekend.. I would appreciate any thoughts or feedback...

Can't report on a Craftlander, but I used a Shoremaster with 20 ft boat and had no problems. Very easy to use when I was alone, which is most important
