Did anybody watch golf today? At exactly 16:51 EST a post-classic Whaler could be seen in the camera shot of the 18th green behind Brian Gay during the Verizon Heritage Tournament at Harbour Town. It looked to me like a 170 or 190 Montauk. Can anybody confirm? For those of you who are unfamiliar, I'll post a link. See below.
The picture on this page is a view of the 18th green. You can see the boats can get up pretty close, especially those with a shallow draft like a Whaler, to watch the action unfold.

I was channel surfing a few week's ago and I heard "Whale", and saw a 13' sport in the water, so of course I flip back, and it was the news covering a small Whale that went up the creek to feed (they sometimes do that here). There was a person in a sport 13' doing circles, looking for the Whale, people were yelling from shore "Get Away", I cracked up figuring "This is one of us for sure" (w/c). No sign of the Whale ( it was smart enough to take off when the camera showed up) but, a GREAT shot of the sport 13, LOL !
