Just curious...

I have seen some boats with the giant WHALER logo on the side. Like this one.

Is that factory? Which boats got this?

Leaves no doubt, that's for sure...

It was an option on many whaler models, not many people went for it, though.

And there were 2 different sizes to them, some of the mid 80's Montauks had the smaller decals, and the Outrages had the larger ones.

My 87 Revenge 22 had a very large Whaler on the Side. Still clearly visible in the old gelcoat, one of the many reasons for painting my hull with LP

Some people I guess want others to know that they own the best... Maybe that is the name of his boat ? Not very original... In TN most folks have never even seen a whaler. Maybe I should get this decal ? LOL

My 1990 Montauk had the large logo, My 1990 Outrage didn't. I always thought it looked cool.

The large WHALER decals were an option during the 1980s. Utterly ridiculous.

When I bought my last Montauk, it had the giant red letters. The first thing I did when I got it home was peel those suckers off. The value of the boat rose by at least $1000 by doing so.

I would think that BW should pay you to have it on there. It's a billboard...

It was not supposed to be on the 1988 outrage cuddy I bought, but it came with it.
