Folks
I have searched for my best options for a cover for my 17 Guardian ( Montauk Hull) with no success. I know Cabelas makes a custom fit model for the classic montauk hull, but my windshield is higher than a standard Montauk. Plus I have an extra rail in the stern that goes across the transom.
Any suggestions on what cover to buy? I jumped the gun and ordered a standard ratchet tite cover from Cabelas, but failed to take into account the rails so it was too small.
Thanks

Hi, I just purchased a brand new cover for a 22' boat. Maybe this will fit yours, it doesn't fit my new boat. I live in Mahwah New Jersey, so maybe it worth a look. Thanks Greg

You will probably have to have a custom cover made. I checked Carver boat covers for Guardian 17,s but no listing, but I am pretty sure they will make it to spec as well as Mills Canvas. I decided to go with Carver over Mills due to cost. The Dealer wanted close to a grand for a Mills cover for my 170 Montauk but I think you can call them and buy direct for less money. My Carver cover was purchased on line thru a popular vendor and I bought it on sale for about $325. The cover fits like a glove and even though it is not Sunbrella it is of good quality and it rated almost the same as sunbrella with the same warranty. Good luck, I hope this helps.
