Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: missing HIN plate

hi, i have a 9foot boston whaler and i am missing the vin plate or hull identification number. without it i can not get it resistered. i do still have the stenciled ID number. is there a way to get the vin if i have stenciled number?

Do you have any idea what year it is?

No VIN on boats. That is for vehicles.
Only HIN for watercraft... Hull Identification Number

What is your stencil number?

i will have to go to see the boat where it is being stored to get the stenciled number but i can only assume its a 1970s 9 foot whaler by the old registration stickers that are on it.
