I am about to purchase a 1992 17' Montauk with a 1999 Yamaha 90 2 stroke with a 1997 Sportsman trailer. The boat has been dry stored in the man's garage with the cover and has not been in the water since 09.11.2001! Current owner claims that the motor has less than 50 hrs and used only once in salt water. Current owner is 80+ yrs old and currently has 4 boats at his home. Boat also includes bimini, two rear seats, 13 (?) rod holders, fish finder, custm cover, 107 lb trolling motor w/ remote all for 11K.

I am scheduled to pick up Sat. How did I do price-wise? What would you look for to evaluate boat?
Any help/opinion is appreciated.

Thanks

Look at this for an idea of pricing...

This was our Montauk and it sold in the spring for the full asking price to the first person who looked at it.
