Hi All,

Just been here for a short time but hope to become a long timer. I bought a 1988 16' but more like 15' Boston Whaler. The previous owner could not tell me much about the boat. I've already spent $1,000+ to get the Johnson 50 VRO back into reliable shape.

My question to any and all you is what do I really have here. I have my suspicions but would like a more knowing eye on this one.

Well, it seems that I can't attach a picture of the boat. I'll have to set up something else to get the images up for viewing.

You have a Sport 15 Center Console. Nice boat.

Thanks Tom. After looking at a lot of these I still have not found pictures of the 15' Sport with the center console.

I'd really like to know if I can get a newer 15' center cosole to swap this one out with.

I'd also like to get a new set of side decals. But I only seem to see the Red Decals, not the Black ones that are on this boat. Any ideas?

On the left sidebar under 'Off-Site Links', and then under 'Web-Less Suppliers', you will find Magic Brush. They are authorized by Boston Whaler to make decals. You can get them in many colors.

Joe,

I tried emailing Magic Brush. Seems they are not available until December 2006.

If they are the only ones offering decals. I guess I'll wait for the winter and add another project

Any Whaler dealer can sell you new decals for the side of your Sport 15, usually off the shelf for $25 or less.
