Has anyone purchased the bow light chock combo from Specialty Marine? My question is how does it fit with rub rail (factory)? Is there a gap between the top of the gunnel and the bottom of the base plate or is it molded as the original ones were to allow for the rub rail?

I have one that is very simliar, if not the same thing. I had to make a "bushing" for it so it would fit properly. I have a few pictures of what I made so I could install the bow light/ chock bit.

What year is your 13'? Mine is a 1966.

CES, I'd be interested in seeing a picture of your "bushings."

I just ordered one from Specialty marine.

aiian. When I get to the house later today, I'll email them to you as the pictures are on my home computer. I have to made a spacer/bushing out of a truck mudflap.....as weird as that sounds. I traced out the bow light, measured where the holes where and then went from there.
