I am having trouble downloading pictures onto a personal page. I am trying to use IrfanView, does anyone have any suggestions? I am having trouble reducing its size aswell as renaming them to not have my picture name.
Thanks,
John

Taken from the Personal Pages FAQ:
To insert a photo, click on Images Upload link at the top of the window and choose the photo you want to upload.
The photo must be in .jpg format and under 100kb in size. The preferred pixel size is 640x480, no larger please.
Once uploaded, click on the "Insert" Private Photo button on the right. This will add the necessary brackets to the photo link so it will show up properly.

If you get too frustrated, email them to me, I will resize and send them back to you.

Another very simple way to downsize your pics if you are running windows Xp is to go to Microsoft site and download Photo resizer in powertoys and then you can do a simple right mouse click and change to a small, med or larger jpf photo.

I figured out how to get them on my page, now how do I arrange them to go up and down and not across?

Go into Edit mode.
By default, each time you add a photo, it goes at the bottom of the page. If a small photo, it will go next to the previous one.
Cut and paste the url then hit ENTER to move it to the next line or to the place you want it.
Remember to save your changes.

What size does the 'Resizer' create?
Small?
Medium?
Large?
Can you specify a particular size?
640x480 is the preferred size for the personal page section at this time.
Medium for Apple computer users using iPhoto is 640x480

Handheld = 240 x 320 The program can be found on Microsoft web page undr powertoys for XP
