As a kid, my Dad would pile all seven of us into the Nauset, and ride from Great Bay in NH, to a little spot outside Kittery, called Chauncey Creek Lobster Pier, where we would pig out on Lobstas and Steamas...
Last weekend, the wife and I found ourselves sitting at one of those big old picnic tables, remarking how the lobstas just didn't taste the same as they used to...they tasted better!
The view hasn't changed...sleepy little rocky Maine inlet...evening mist rolling in...and while it wasn't the Nauset, this Whaler sure did bring back some memories!
