Not mine. Ad seen on the Houston craigslist today... Is this a banana boat? 19 or 21?

And I quote...

Title of the ad is "20' Boston Whaler Outrage Hull and trailer only - $3900 (Houston)"

"This is a project boat. A 1978 hull, not the low profile, but the more meaty version. I intended to restore it and did not get to it, bought a 22' restored whaler instead. This boat has been in my shop, stored dry, for about 6 or 7 years. I have done some work to it, but it has a long way to go. I have pulled the fuel tank (bad, I think), the motor has been sold, the center console is gone, and all wood and hardware are stripped off. I had it offshore before I removed the engine, and it has the classic whaler performance. The hardware is in various boxes and not well labeled. You need to know what you are doing to restore this boat, or be good at researching. Unless you just want a work boat, it is going to need gel coat and more fiberglass work than I have done. I have it upside down right now, on a rolling dolly that I made for it. The dolly comes with the boat. The trailer is decent. If you are interested, email me and I will send pics. "

Your guess will be as good as mine.
Photos would help but if it is upside down..
Well I don't know..
I think that you would have to view it in person to assess.
Could be a bit much on the price though..
It is was free it may be worth the challenge..

It is a 1978 Outrage V-20.
