Hello everyone, late last fall I purchased a '97 Montauk, been spending some time this winter getting it in shape, mostly cosmetic and electrical..it had Springfield Pedistal Seats which I replaced with a Wise RPS, Model # WD155P, in what they call #720 white. I need to replace the Rod Holder and Cooler Cushions, what's your experience with Hall's and Speciality Marine? Thanks for your imput...this is a great site, lots of info. dave

Dave -
Welcome to WC.
If you do a search on Halls, you will find dozens of positive reviews.
If price is a concern and you can tolerate the color/texture not matching, Specialty is another way to go.
I redid the cushions on my 1987 Montauk with Halls. See my personal page.

There is no better source for Whaler upholstery than Lois Hall at Hall's Nautical Upholstery. I have used her many times.

Hall's does do excellent work, but so does Anderson Mfg. I puchased their stern seat and a full set of cushions for my montauk. Every thing was top notch and they were great to deal with. I'm sure they are on par with Halls, but halls didn't have the stern seat so I went with Anderson.

Dave,
I'm in the process of ordering new cushions from Specialty Marine and have no complaints so far in dealing with Eric there. I'll post if there are any problems when my order arrives.
