This is my debut to discussion, and Whaler rehabing. I'm in the process of gutting my 13 to refinish the dorsal this winter, and I've got lots of discussion questions on the way. But to start, I'd like to be able to put new authentic bow light on my Christmas list. Of course, I've I need to be able to tell possible gifters where to get what and what to expect to pay. I promise my forthcoming topics will be more technical, having a lot to do with making the boat authentic, but for now, what does anybody know?

To find yourself a 100% came off a sunk BW bow light, you need to get lucky and keep an eye on ebay. Prices vary from the $50 to $250 range, and condition does not always follow the price. You can have Santa order you a light from Speciality Marine, one of the site sponsors for $169, normally $189. It is not exactly like the original but only Santa and you will know. If someone else gets close enough to take the light apart, they should be waxing the boat for you.

Welcome to WC
