I am from the upper Cape and and not sure of what to expect, where is the best boat ramp, any advice you can offer is verry appreciated. Is it even worth it? The pics on line look great. I was considering doing it this month before it getss too cold orearly spring before it statrs getting crowded

Where are these places? If there's a link, we'd like to see it too.

Cliff,
I googled it. Seems to be near Cape cod. Pretty place, as are most islands.
Waco72,
I'd make sure to watch the weather before venturing out. My 13 gives me too much confidence, especially this time of year when a front can bring some nasty winds.

Definitely worth the trip, but watch the weather. It can be real nasty. I guess that the fishing can be great, but I didn't put in much effort when we would go.
I have gone out there a bunch of times, but I head over from Dennis or Harwichport. I googled a ramp on Bridge Street in Chatham. It looks like a great spot to go from, may be real protected.
This place is awesome in the summer! I have never run into any real crowds. Every time we went, we would pull up to a deserted area and had the place to ourselves.
I imagine it will be getting a little chilly out there right now.

Thanks, I will definately plan a trip there this spring. Approximately how long of a trip is it from the ramp, hard to tell by looking at map and charts. Thanks

Stage Harbor in Chatham is your easiest access point to Monomoy.
