Ok, I am feeling pretty silly this weekend.
I had just changed my gear lube, and I am staring at my new motor with a new filter and some oil. Ready to go! First oil change.
20 minutes later I am still staring!
For the life of me I can't figure where to drain the oil out!
There's a couple of bolts with gaskets near the oil filter, but they are all placed so low ther is no way to drain the oil without making a horid mess. I know that engine makers are well known for placing bolts and things in the hardest places possible, but this didn't make sense.
So, I didn't do anything! I need some advice! Maybe a picture too....
also I used to fog the carbs on my old 2 stroke, how about fuel injected motors? Do you run anything through the injector system for winter storage?

oil change
the drain plug is on the left side about half way down the leg. the plug is black and slightly recessed the engine should be tilted slightly up to be able to catch the oil in a container I hope this helps

Also keep in mind that once you remove the engine cover, the lower cowling (that the cover snaps to) is usually 2 pieces and comes off easily after removing 3 (if memory serves) little bolts allowing total access to the lower part of the power head. Take a look, I think there's one bolt aft and 2 forward of the powerhead on the lower cowling assembly.
