Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: CAN RAIL BASES BE RE-CHROMED?

My chrome is coming of my rail bases. The boat is a 1982 and I only assume they are made from SST and then chromed. Can they be re-chromed or is it cheaper to replace?

Don,

If they are original, they should be chrome over brass.
They can be re-chromed.
