All -
I am trying to determine which Model # I have from 1984 Yamaha Outboard.

The Serial Number is 6H1L451025

The Yamaha Website lists both a 90ETLN and 90ETXN does anyone know what the difference is between the two motors? Someone who is interested in purchasing and rebuilding it has asked me and I have no clue.

well I used www.boats.net to buy parts for my Yamaha. You might be able to log onto their web forum too and talk to the yami guys on there. I know they'll be able to help you. I've worked with this parts house and web forum a lot for my engine.....seem to be good folks.

L= 20 inch shaft

X= 25 Inch shaft

N= 1984

Per boats . net. Does That agree with what you Have?
