(Probably a stupid question) Does anyone else think that it would be the coolest thing ever to but a whaler and put twin 20 HP engines on it? I think itwould be an awesome experiment if someone had the time and money. also if anyone has done this please post pics I would love to see them.
PLEASE RESPOND!
Thanks:)

I know there has been discussions before on this. It could be something that could be done but, would be more of a novelty. I know one member has seen a 15 Super Sport in Fort Lauderdale many times that has twin 35's.

Why would someone want to do this other than for a novelty? I can`t see any use in doing that/

I agree with you seabob - why do this. More weight and it's not like you are going offshore in a 13 footer. It won't be faster or anything -- just a waste.

Cool novelty, no function. The 13 sits low enough in the water anyway......why add the weight?
It would be cool to look at, that's about it.

Cool to look at -- if you want that just take that 300 lbs of motors and turn it into a single e-Tec 90hp (320 lbs). That would be cool to look at but dangerous to operate. Put it on a manual jack plate that sets off the transom about a foot and get ready to fly.
Thanks for joining us on flight crazy scheduled to arrive in a body bag at WOT. :o

I had aq friend that put 2 25's on a 15' Carolina Skiff. He said it was more agravating than worthwhile. He had the steering setup with a side stick instead of a steering wheel. Don't ask me why, other than he just wanted to! :o
