Hello Joe.

A birthday is always cause for celebrations.

Mine is just around the corner and coming up pretty quick.
I have good friend that pipes up from time to time and say;
"Time and tide await's for no man a very few women indeed"

In the occasion of this festive spirit, I would like to quote a true anecdote featuring a favorite figure of mine..Winston Churchill.
Upon attending a private party in the times prior to his difficult role in leading the United Kingdom in the pre war years..
Winston would enjoy himself in drinks, smoke and conversations.Clutching his favorite glass and sipping his malty brew, his other function was to chat with the far and near Boys from the Old Club and puffing on his usual good cigar.
After having been asked twice by the lady of the house to put it out and that; being confronted again by the same request ; The surrounding gentry heard the irate woman state that if he (Winston) was her husband behaving in such a ghastly manner; that his next drink would be laced with the deadliest poison.
Without even blinking and eye, Winston retorted to her, to the vast amusement of all the surrounding crowd that;" If you were my wife I'd be drinking it without hesitation".
True story,

Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone....

I am not 108 years old today thankfully but sometime I do feel like it...

My wife cooked Australian Lobster Tails and rice for dinner.
For dessert she made a Key Lime Pie Florida style.
After that I had an expensive Cigar that was given to me for this occasion and while smoking that I had a glass or two of brandy....
It's been a great day.
Looking forward to next year when I will be 22........ I wish...... B)
