I know this has been explained a thousand times, but apparantly I am just slow! :( I know that you can add a photo to a post by inserting the path or link to the photo that is stored somewhere on the internet. My question is can I also post a photo in a post that is stored on my computer without sending it to another site such as photobucket, etc.
Thanks

No you can not. Your personal PC does not have an open view type configuration like a public server. You could probably set it up that way if you had a dedicated IP address -- way technical and would allow everyone to access your hard drive. **Sorry for the bad information...I was thinking of the thumb nail images and multiples. I did not even think about the single image you can post in the response portion. I was wrong :(**

If you have a photo stored on your computer, you can insert it into a post.

You will need to select POST REPLY and not use the Quick Reply.
At the bottom of the POST REPLY is a box for attachment.

The photo will need to be smaller than 98kb.

Click on Choose File and navigate to the folder on your computer where the photo is stored and select it. Once you hit, REPLY, the photo is uploaded as part of the post.

If the photo is not showing, there is a problem with the name (no spaces or _ in the name) or the photo is too large.

If you want some one-on-one assistance with this and other features, email me. :p

Make sense?

Tom,

You can attach an image to your post by clicking on "POST REPLY" in the lower right hand corner of any post in the thread. There you will have the option of attaching a image with your post that is on your hard drive and not hosted elsewhere on the net. Make sure the file is under 98kb, is a .gif or .jpg file, and the name contains no spaces, dashes, etc.

Name of file that will upload:
Tomssport.jpg
mywhaler.jpg

Names that will not upload:
Tom's 15.jpg
Toms Boat.jpg
Toms-whaler.jpg
My 15 sport.jpg
My_boat_at_speed.jpg
