I have been trying to find general information on Banana Hulled outrages.
I have a 1980 21'6 outrage and am looking for all the information I can find about it. I have seen a little - but not much on these old style hulls. Any help with direction on finding original info on it would be great. I would like to restore it. I think I have the last year whaler made this hull.

JMount,
Welcome aboard WhalerCentral....
Spend a little time looking around on our site and you will most likely find what you need.
Right on the left sidebar and at the top in the subheader under "WhalerCentral", you will find the links to "Whaler Model Specifications"....
Try looking at this:

Thanks again Joe, I am eager to look around and dig into this. My boat is in great shape just needs a little TLC. I have owned it since 1994

I would love a copy of an owner's manual for the Outrage 21. Did you send a paper copy to an admin of the site to scan and post, or did you send an electronic version? If electronic, could you email me a copy?

scrimshaw,
Which admin did you send it to?
The only thing I have from you is the Approval for the NY tour that you submitted....

I would love to get whatever I can on this boat as I am going to totally start restoring this winter, right now though we are crabbing and salmon fishing up here in the northern San Juans.
Thanks again, Jay

I have only seen a very few of these Banana Hulled baoats around. How rare are they? I would like to find the schematics for my boat somehow. I can't seem to find anything on the internet yet.

The 21 Banana Hulled style outrages and revenges are not that obscure. There are a lot of them out there. Finding one in great condition is a more difficult task. Finding a very well maintained 21 Outrage "Rib Sided" or "Dump Truck" Banana hulled outrage is an even more difficult task.

I, too, thought the ribbed Outrage was rare. When Jim (Scrimshaw) visited from CT for a day on the bay, we saw 4 in my local waters. What a surprise!
P.S. I did site search on "ribbed" and found 34 posts.

Jeff and Jim,
Yes, Jeff did send them to me as I just found out. Don't know how I missed them except I know that I am getting way too much email....
I will split the files up and then post them when I am feeling a little better. I have had my first cold in over 10 years and this thing is knocking me back..... Of course the smoke from fires in our area isn't helping. We haven't been able to really see the mountains much since June 1 and the fires are still burning....

Thanks Jim...
Those large size attachments throw the forum section all out of whack....
