Lake Placid is a great area, I tried to move there in `06 from Central Fl., but my house didn`t sell. :( There is a lake on almost every corner.

Wow, now I want to take my family there. Were you actually on Lake Placid or another lake in the Lake Placid area? Are there places to stay and a public launch or were you staying with friends/relatives?
Thanks,
Ric

Many lakes to choose from, most have great ramps. nearby motels, good restaurants in Sebring right next door, no crowds, great place for boating or fishing.:D
