Hello fellow Boston Whaler enthusiast! It has been a life long dream to own a Whaler and I finally got my little paws on one. Long story short, I have a 1964 16'7" montauk and I just purchased a bow mount minn kota V2 and am trying to figure out the best way to mount this. I heard something about a metal L shape braket that is made for it, but can not find the darn thing anywhere. I would appreciate any help :D!!!!!

If your boat has railings, this will not work. The picture shows a card board template ( http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s297/tcrochet1/ ) . That template was used to get a piece of 1/4 aluminum cut to that size . If you look at my personal page that is the first whaler that I owned. It has that setup.
