I have been a Boston Whaler fan for several years and will start looking for one to purchase in the next year. I will be looking for something in the 1970's or 1980's models and wanted some imput on models that work the best for the type of activity we do on the water. I boat just about every weekend, but I have always had runabouts. I tend to usually have at least 1-2 people and a couple of dogs with me. Any suggestions on what models might work best for me and my family. We tend to do watersports, cruise, and just float around with some fishing involved. We hit several different lakes and rivers, not picky about the place just as long as we can be on the water. :p
Thanks.

A good place to start is right here. Go to this link and take a look at some of the photos of the different models.

I would consider the size boat you think you can handle or would like to have -- consider type of water you frequent. Wave height and draft are important. Next look at the layout of the different models -- you may like center console, side console, open bow or cuddy type. There are members out here with almost every different model produced. Once you find the one you think you like go to the personal pages and find a member with that model. We all like to talk about our boats!
