Caught one yesterday trolling a Chaos (yellow/green) jethead lure at 5 knots behind a 25' Outrage. 50 miles from Port Aransas jetties in 295 feet of blue water on a weedline. Sportfishing Magazine has some good articles on dorado techniques.

TexasOutrage - Lets see some pictures. I am closing on our place in Port A this week and plan to be there a lot over the next few weeks (4-5 days a week). 50 miles off - that is some serious fuel bill! :o

I burned 66 gallons of fuel after running 124 miles roundtrip (12 miles to Port Aransas jetties and 50 miles offshore). This distance does not include the trolling back and forth on weedlines. The motors ran for 11 hours straight.

I'll be in the Mediterranean for the month of September.
I can't wait.
Sounds like you take your fishing seriously TO.
I went fishing on Long Island on my Outrage 20 last month and cought a few striper. It was pretty fun.
Someday I hope to move up to your league. :D
Let's hear more fish stories.
