This is my 1986 Super Sport 15 rehabilitation project. I made some modifications for fishing by trying to maintain the classical look which I love. Do you think I pulled it off? Your constructive opinions are going to be appreciated. This girl is staying here with me for Tarpon.

That is a great looking custom whaler. I think you followed the aesthetics of the classic hull very well. Truely a show piece.
This is coming from a person who is a Designer and Professor of Design at the University level if that makes you feel any better.
I would love to see more images of the boat and build.

OK upon viewing you personal page I can see the build photos and more of the boat finished. Impressive!
I just have to rant here...After all that work you did not put OEM decals on???? WHY NOT?? You might want to think about doing that IMHO.

Hi Jeff and thank you for your point of view on this work, especially coming
from you professor.
The truth is that this work is mostly part of a gift certificate for custom boat repairs, won at a local Blue Marlin Tournament in Arecibo, Puerto Rico (north shore of the Island, worldwide known as Marlin Alley). I am part of the fishing team that caught and released the most billfish in two days of fishing. We did this with five blues, enough to win four categories (Swept it. Great job Extreme Game Fishing Team!)
One of the awards received was the certificate mentioned above. I took this old Whaler to the gentleman that gave away the award whos name is Alexander "Alex" Jimenez. He is a young local custom boat designer from Arecibo, PR. He is the one who deserves the credit on aesthetics and fabrication. I just helped him in the brainstorming of the design according to my fishing wants and passion for Whalers. I can give you his contact information if you or anyone that read this may want it.
Regards, Luis Burgos from San Juan, PR
