I'm 80% done on my 1986 SS 15' rehab. I repainted the hole thing with gelcoat and the original capacity plate dosen't look nice. Is it possible to get one new or mint? How, when, where?

I believe Jeff, (one of the moderators here) is working on the 15 Capacity Plate drawing. Just like the other ones in the download section here:

The downloads are full size replicas suitable for making a copy..
After he is finished you would need to send the drawing to Janis at Magic Brush or some professional plaque or sign maker to have it replicated.

Maybe Jeff will comment more on this when he can.

Hi,

Just a a note: I was able to obtain an image of the 15' capacity plate from surfside3 marina on Long Island, The plate is no longer in production (for my year anyway '76) give them a holler www.sufside3.com, Nice folks, they will forward you the image free of charge, a local trophy or print shop will make the plate for you.

I was able to get one and I am building the file right now. I am VERY BUSY with work so free time is limited. I will let you know when I finish...
