Does anyone know if the Classic Guardian 20 or 22 (late 80's to 1991) were built with Whalerdrive?

While it may have been an option I do not know of any that were built with one. Especially from the time frame you refer to. I have only seen larger 25 and 27 models from the late 90's to present with whaler drives on them. The 22 guardians did have an upgraded transom option to get the boat to rate up to 300hp. Our guardian was built with that option and is rigged with twin 150 mercs.

Jeff, how far into the 90's was the whalerdrive available as an option? I thought they started going to integral transoms in the 90's.
P.S. I ran across an 22 Outrage for sale (91 I believe) with Whalerdrive and twin 200's. They weigh the same as 150's, so weight was not a problem.

Nautilus,
I believe whalerdrives are still offered today (atleast they were last year) for a $10,000 option charge.

Bet their selling the hell out of them at that price! That's absurd. I'm just going to keep my eyes open. I would love to run across a classic 22 outrage cuddy, whalerdrive and no power. Give me a good project restoring it to like new condition and then hanging the power of my choice on the back.

The 22 Outrage WhalerDrive Cuddys are very tough to find at any sort of reasonable price. My friend Jim owns the one shown
here. He was thinking of selling it this winter and had someone interested in it however, I think he talked himself out of selling it. To rare of a boat to let go. I will say I am not sure how you plan to use the boat but, this model really does have very limited deck space and is not the easiest to fish.

Mike,
That is such a hot rod of a little boat. Any idea where it is at these days?

Jeff,
I sold it to a guy in Wisconsin about 10 years ago. He was trying to sell it a few years back. I'm not sure where it is now.
