Not a chance in you know where! Way too many drunk crazies out on the 4th, my boat will stay safely on it's jet dock.

Although I expected lots of folks would be down this week, and I almost had the river to myself this afternoon. Not sure if folks will start their vacation tomorrow or if the price of gas has kept them at home.

Happy 4th, stay safe out there.

In my opinion, unless boating in a fairly remote area, it is best to keep off the water on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.

If I get out early and get to the spot where everyone is meeting and then stay late I find that I avoid most of the "yahhhooos"
I cant imagine not using the boat... its a matter of timing.:D

mw,
My daughter is 2 and LOVES to go in pop's boat. I'll not be using it this weekend at all. We're going to my 42nd year class reunion. It'll be fun and I can look forward to fishing the following two weekends in a row. One in Toledo Bend reservior and the other in the Gulf at Grand Isle.
