Does anybody make a PFD style throwable seat cushion that is the size of the bench seat on my Nauset?

If you made it as long as the bench seat how could you throw it? I use the standard throwable cushions as backrests for the cooler seat, they are strapped to the console rail with velcro straps. You could try a couple side by side and use velcro on the straps under the seat to hold them in place.

Am I missing something? The throwables that you buy at West Marine are square. I could still throw a rectangle. Maybe I'm stuck with having something made. I was hoping there was something already out there.

how big do you want it? I was assuming that you wanted it the width of the console which I believe is about 30 inches? If your trying to get something that doubles as a PFD and a cushion, I believe your stuck with the small ones.
As for throwing a rectangle, I disagree. The square ones are hard enough to toss and be reasonably accurate, anything larger and less aerodynamic would be useless.

I pictured throwing like a frisbee, I could be wrong on how well that might work though.
