I just bought a 1966 17 Whaler with bench seating, the outboard is a 1990 Evinrude 90, with trim/tilt and a rebuilt powerhead. I looking for a good SS prop with good all round performance charateristics, top-end, acceleration and bite I plan to do alot of wake boarding and cruising. The boat came with aluminum \
13 3/4 x 17" it runs good with, but would like a step up.

Hi Ed, I run a 13X19 sst (omc black painted stainless) on my '85 Montauk with a 90hp Johnson. I feel it is a perfect set up, jumps on plane with 5 people on board and 42mph WOT. You can get these pretty cheap on ebay.
