I figured I'd post information on a Continuouswave Whaler Gathering on Whaler Central as well. We plan on meeting at East Bank Park (the ramp next to the Dam Store) at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 26th 2008. So far we may have as many as 12 boats of all shapes and sizes! Would love to see some Whaler Central folks out there! Please feel free to email me, or check in on the CW thread if you can attend!-k

Wow, just my luck. I'm driving to Lake Lanier with Whaler in tow from Dallas this week and will miss the event as I won't be there in July. Maybe next year!

Thanks. The extent of me being in Atlanta is flying into the airport every couple of weeks and eating in terminal B before hopping another flight.

I just returned from Lake Lanier this morning. We made the 13 hour drive home from Atlanta to Dallas today and have been home about 3 hours as of this writing. I launched my Whaler at Aqualand in Flowery Branch and kept her moored there for the week. I cannot get over how blue and clear the water is in Lake Lanier....wow. We had a great week and spent every day doing something on the lake with our Whaler. I hated pulling the boat out of the water yesterday evening........just to look at her in my garage this evening. Wish I could make the event. Take care and have fun.

Had a great time at the Lanier Rendezvous! Although the Menemsha wasn't ready, still had a lot of fun, and met some great folks! Here are some pics:

Looks like a great time had for all ! Good weather and turnout. I lived in Lilburn, Ga. up to 3 years ago spent alot of time on that lake the pictures have compounded my need to plan a trip next year,hopefully with time you'll see full pool.

Thanks for sharing guys. I love Lake Lanier and wish I could spend more time there. The water looks great and it was nice to see so many Whaler owners together. Maybe next summer I'll make it there with my Whaler.
