In the Parts section, I found this, and called them.

"They sell two versions. One with a metal buckle and one with a Stainless Buckle. You want the Stainless version and comes with SS tie downs also.

I am now told they have a minimum order of $250.

Does anybody know a place where these can be obtained. I need two. If not, I suppose we could attempt another group order situation.

Just talked to them, Joe. That's what I was told. They referred me to McMaster Carr, but they don't sell it either. Do you know of any other source? Couldn't find anything on Google either.

Maybe some interest in a group order?

That's odd, I bought four of the Kevlok SS Buckled straps last july and there was no minimum, I'll have to pull out the invoice, I don't understand why they have a minimum order, especially if you're paying the shipping, which is what I did. Especially in these times, you'd think any company would be willing to make any sale they can, again considering they'e not paying the shipping, the buyer is

Considering how this auction went how about getting a group buy on tan battery boxes as well.

I have seen battery tie downs made by a company called KWIK-LOK that are close to the kevlok straps but in the end not the same.

I would be interested in the Tan Battery Boxes, is it possible to contact the OEM and get them embossed with Boston Whaler Logo as original, if not I don't know that I would be interested

Update on my search for the Whaler batt box strap:

On a hunch, during a recent trip to FL, I stopped in Lauderdale Marina in Ft Lauderdale (long time Whaler Dealer), and they had two of these still in stock, leftover for years. So I purchased both at their price of $26 each.

It appears the only other way to get these now is a group purchase using the $250 minimum order size.

Yea, I ran into the thing about the min. order with them about a year and a half ago. However I found a used one in a marine used parts house and I think paid 10.00 for it. Smiled the whole day for that find.
