We are now up and running on our new host.

Please let us know how the site is working for you.

IF there are any problems with accessing any part of the site let us know. We have tested and have found the site to be working well. But you never know...

I have noticed a dramatic decrease in loading time of all portions of the site.

Mike -

Working great from down east.

In my 15 years of IT, you guys have done one of the smoothest migrations I have seen.

I didn't feel a thing :)

elmroc,

We had the personal pages and forum attachments turned off in anticipation of moving the site.

They are now re-enabled.

Thanks for the heads up.

Phil,

Thanks for the feedback. This was a fun one. Joe worked his butt off moving the files. I lucked out and only had to work with the database for the most part.

Having Jeff and Tom moderating the site is a huge factor in allowing us to work the migration.

Just getting away from Servage as a host is a reward in itself. We are hoping for much better service with our new host.

Seems to be running fine. Things do show up faster. Please don't digitize the boats. I have enough trouble getting the analog versions right!:D
Nice Job Guys,

It's working fine in New Hampshire; quick logon and access too.

I tried to log on this morning and got a message that said something like the site would be back in a couple of days. I had Whaler withdrawal all day long. Welcome back.

My personal page works well too. Thank you all.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback!

It looks like WhalerCentral is working well for almost everyone.

If anyone is experiencing slow load times please let us know. Please include the browser you're using (Firefox, Safari, IE, etc...) and the type of internet service you have (dsl, dial-up, broadband).

Working for me so far. I got a couple SQL errors earlier, but not sure if that was a real error or something cached at the office. So far so good from the house.

None of the images on my personal page got transfered, at least not tagged to me? When I pull up my personal page no images come up and if I go to edit the page, I have no uploaded images to select from?

Should be fixed now.

I am going through the personal page photo albums and many of them are missing.
Very strange....

I must still be the only one in the world that cannot get to WhalerCentral through the front door. :@

I can finally get to the site regularly now at 10 PM...

Not sure if it was all of California or just my Internet provider that was slow propagating the new domain name servers.

All looks good but I will continue to investigate this evening...

If anyone sees any missing photos, bad links, bad pages, etc., please speak up and let us know.
We will get right on it....

Thanks.....
