Aloha

Boats.net may be able to help. A large online dealer. I order Yamaha part from them, discounted...:D

Thanks. I usually get parts from them. They don't have a carb rebuild "kit" but do sell individual parts. I was hoping that someone sold a regular type "kit" in a box. If not, I'll just get the parts "ala carte".

Hey Jim,

Before tearing down the carbs, have you thought about running Seafoam or Chemtool through it first? Many people seem to get good results from this and avoid a rebuild... My Yamie is 18 years old and runs very well. I Use Seafom in a high concentration beginning of the season, then as an additive in the tank later in the season.

BTW I was drove through your town "Kaneohe" on a drive around the island while on vacation a few years years ago That bay was spectacular from what I remember.

Good Luck

Honda tells me that they don't sell carb kits, only single parts (at "ala carte prices"). I ordered the parts for just cleaning and partial refurb. Will also do the Seafoam thing, too. Might as well go the whole hog and do a good job.

Yea. Kaneohe Bay is the nicest boating area in the state. It's large and the sandbar in the middle goes on for acres. Perfect for small boats.
