New to the site and enjoying learning about my new (to me) 11' Whaler. Question though... I want to hoist it on to the bow of my sportfisher with my davit (already have a dingy rack on the foredeck). Can I just use the three lifting eyes as I've done in the past with my inflatable rib, or do I need some sort of device as I've seen advertised similar to a long pole with attachments to the lifting eyes? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks...

Not exactly sure of your setup, but my next door neighbor has his hanging on a hoist in the same manner that you are referring to. 2 at the stern and 1 on the bow and he seems to have no problems at all

I have also seen a small Whaler suspended (three points) on a davit near my marina. Several of the Sportfishers there have Whalers, but I have not noticed any special harnesses for lifting. I'll look next time I am there.
