I am wondering what size the logos are on a 1972 Katama and where to order new ones. I am hoping to replace mine as they are pretty worn after 35 years off use!
Thanks, Glenn

I don't know what size your Katama takes, but if you get some on ebay be sure to ask what size they are.

Please don't buy what are, for the most part, illegally produced and poorly executed imitation decals off of Ebay. Just go to your Whaler dealer or order from the factory authorized Whaler decal producer, Magic Brush. They do not costs very much.
For a 1972 Katama you want the small set of logos, 14" I believe.

Thanks for all the input. I want to make sure I have the original size. OEM is the goal. It would be nice to get that nice raised gel version they have on the newer boats, but the staying OEM would be clutch.

Call Janis at Magic Brush. She produces the exact decal as originally produced. She also can do your registration numbers in a matching font/color. They come on a single sheet so application is a breeze.

Good call on the Reg. Numbers. If you see the pics I have posted it looks like my Grandfather had a couple of Martini's before slapping them on!

Here is a photo of the Magic Brush numbers right after installation on my Montauk. Note the color match and the slant.
Will be adding them to the Outrage as I work down the list.

Twin Cities Marine in MN is a Authorized Whaler Dealer. They have the 14" logo's you need for your 72' Katama and many times they drop ship from Whaler. They are only $6.50 for a PAIR. The ones on Ebay fade to pink after 3 months, these dont and they come in a few days.

ppoorman,
I will look them up and try to order a set. Thanks for the info!
Your boat looks great by they way. I would love to get a Merc set up like you have!
