Trying to eliminate the guess work. I have a 1980 Montauk 17 with a 2004 90 hp. Mercury 4 stroke. It did not come with a propeller. I am looking for overall performance; any suggestions?

I recommend a 13-1/2" x 20" Mercury Laser II or a 13-1/4" x 19" Stiletto Advantage I.

Welcome to WC.

You have gotten a response from a "master" of props, so you are good to go. When you have a chance, build a personal page and post some photos of your rig.

If you want to play around you can try the mercury online prop selector.
